so fun story on my end about that shirt:
that was a very limited edition thing done in collaboration with teespring, as in they reached out to me specifically because of how well my girlpla design sold to say "hey we're trying out a special kind of printing, do you want to give it a go?" of course i said yes but design-wise i was drawing blanks so i inspired myself from the 18+ signs I saw after returning from my trip in Japan.
The thing is that they didn't know? I tried explaining to them what the idea was because I was like "are you sure you guys wanna promote this" and after a couple back and forth of being like "no this is in reference to the sex industry" I ended up getting a sort of vague "we don't really get it but the design is cute!" kinda response. I wanted to clarify because I knew they were against explicitly adult content and there's no porn there or anything but it's like.... beyond suggestive right? It's just The Sign.
Maybe it's not really getting away with murder but I do think it's funny still that they were like hmmm okay sure! at the idea
