i actually found a website some time ago that walks you through emulating SGI IRIX 6.5.22 in MAME of all things, lol

you might have better luck in something like QEMU or VirtualBox though
also: remember computers that wouldn't hide most of their contents from you
i had an iris indigo, long past it's era of usefulness. we didn't have room for it when we moved and no one would take it because it wasn't a pc.
