"Oh, it's an action adventure platformer tutorial? What are your lessons?"
"Here's how to gun! Here's how to have enemies you can kill!"
"... What about the, you know, platforming part of all that?"
"What's that I can't hear you over this tutorial telling you how to kill more people."
Then there's the ones that are like:

Step 3, the rest of the owl

Plus it's just really hard to reference videos for specific information I want to review. I want searchable documents to learn from!
The only time I really want a video tutorial for something is where seeing an explanation/demonstration of the thing I need help with would be useful - and there are tons of scenarios in which that would apply, but the economic model most of the Internet runs on has inflated video tutorials well beyond said scenarios.
Agreed, and yeah, the scales have well and truly tipped over and crashed off the desk.
Yeah like, I want a 10-20 second clip that demonstrates hooking up the animation bones, I don't want the 10 minutes of padding that makes the video fit the youtube algorithm SEO
