it's amazing how much of this i've internalized and can just work around/"trick" the computer or site into doing, but when i have to think about it - especially when i'm helping my mom with a computer thing - it's such a huge "what the actual fuck" moment, except it happens on every single screen and for every single button. why tf is it so hard to navigate and know what each button is going to do! who made that choice! unmake that choice! please! i'm begging!
