This is actually not too far off from how an actual computer works nowadays, there are hidden processors for system management and cryptography secrets and network acceleration and just writing complicated device interfaces in a programming language instead of making a state machine out of logic gates

when i say 15 cpus of various different architectures hardwired to various components i mean that the programmer must write and compile code for dedicated cpus such as the motorola 68000, zilog z80, arm9, intel core solo (i did not check the cpu names i can't be bothered). not inaccessible cpus that happen to be in peripherals.

the closest comparison i think i can make is nintendo ds, with an arm9 and arm7. in practice nintendo didn't allow programmers to program the arm7 themselves but it was absolutely possible to do
