I know that you're all revved up from watching nightdive remaster everything under the sun. I know that one YouTuber convinced you that rise of the triad is good. I know that your mind has jumped to the next obvious meme game in the timeline.
But please. Don't encourage them. I know you think it's funny, but we do not want a legacy remaster of William Shatner's Tekwar. Every joke brings it closer to one of those weirdos going "no we should do it for real" and that way lies madness. Please.
Oh, that won't get a remaster, whatever company now owns the IP will just throw a simple port on steam and call it a day, like they did with two other games made by the exact same company called Witchhaven and Witchhaven II: Blood Vengeance
i have no interest in actually playing Rise of the Triad, but god if i'm not totally enamored with the game's weird attitude towards... everything. and the FMV digitized sprites. just a weird game. enjoyable to look at! but not play!
Tbh I just want a Heretic/Hexen remaster and I'll be fine
