yknow i was really excited for the Lil Nas X album "MONTERO" when it came out in 2021, and i did listen to it a lot in the last months of that year. i haven't listened to it much at all since then, so i decided to revisit the whole thing tonight.
and honestly... idk, i still love the production and the instrumentals but the lyrics and features are just kinda annoying to me now. especially jack harlow (of course). the others are just whatever.
also i was super disappointed in 2021 that the album had no physical versions whatsoever, and three years later this is apparently still true? not even the obligatory crappy vinyl release? wtf man. Columbia can't even afford to print some CDs???
