i looked at gemini protocol & geminispace today. it's really neat and it seems really aligned with my past obsession with plaintext. i really like their markup!!! i love the block links!!! i love the lack of any kind of embeds!!! i also love the blogging culture they have there!!! i'm currently using the lagrange gemini client and i hope to look around more this week. but currently i'm not planning to set up a place there. i'm still holding on to my dream of my own neocities website bcos i don't just wanna blog, i wanna do shrines and lists and stuff... and godge i can't let go of interactivity you know

remembering my childhood. most of "protecting the kids" from censorship to parent rights is bullshit. the kids are already being hurt all the time. kids feel the brunt of the horrors of the world, and the most "sheltered" kids are one of the most harmed, just in secret (either secret to everyone else or secret even to them). a lot of "protecting" kids is just hurting them further.
