Here's the second half of my analysis of EP 6 of the NieR: Automata Ver 1.1a anime, covering the second half of the Pearl Harbor descent and some of the details surrounding it that the anime only briefly alluded to.

Since the second half of this episode is replete with symbolic imagery and quick references to larger subjects, I get to spend a fair amount of time ruminating on the philosophical ideas that underpin this episode. I think it's some of the strongest writing and analysis I've done for this series so far, so I hope you find it enlightening.
