Just had the most surreal experience. Was listening to a new album to try it out and, out of nowhere, the next song is suddenly a beat-for-beat ripoff of Dream Theater's "Dance of Eternity." Not a cover, mind you--just something that section-for-section, rhythm for rhythm matched that same song while technically being a distinct piece.
I guess calling it "inspired by" would be the charitable description, but no, it was nearly the same fucking song. Absolutely weird-ass moment.
