I kinda wanna build one with a lever, but also don't know if I wanna commit without trying one first? Really, I feel like I'd love a leverless one but with the state of my left index it wouldn't be a good idea, even with how most are ergonamically laid out, so I'm mostly looking at this as a way to move more motions to the wrist and/or shoulder. The Silly Option would be making a split controller where the left half is something like the wii nunchuck while the right is a fight stick's right side, which is... tempting, but also maybe not quite what I want?
Where I'm at now is a) I think I want something similar to the hitbox's RH and including the up button but otherwise a lever1 and I don't think that exists (but also: I really don't know what all is out there; most of my reading has been to find firmware options, lol) and b) I know I don't wanna stick with my current option (a hori fighting commander) cuz I don't love a dpad for inputs

I also want my buttons shaped like steno keys, but that's not happening till I build one cuz I've definitely never seen that anywhere
