it's hard cuz it's very much a toss up in whether a diamond (and I guess ECO too) line pen is gonna be fine or Extra Brittle; clear plastics are just a tricky thing and I'm sure there's lots of environmental factors with it too. I'm more and more loving my Gos because of it; the ink-containing part is made of a much more durable plastic (tpu if I had to hazard a guess) so it's less of a catastrophic issue worry. TWSBI pens all feel very nice, are generally solid, and I love how easy they tear down (esp compared to my original FP love, the vacumatic 😂) but there's a big tradeoff to commiting to a transparent ink reservoir!

I love that for them! I love the straightforwardness of this method. Do they have a like, actual domain name'd email at least tho? The fact twsbi does not for their America customer service is so so funny to me. What is going on internally that caused a such a quick fix for their customer facing contact info?? It almost certainly immediately gets forwarded to a different mail system; why did they do it this way, and how many IT people cried because of it?

yeah they have a very traditionally professional email address, it's just one of those 'oh huh okay sure i'll paypal you 8 bucks to get a part for my 150 USD pair of headphones that are out of warranty' which was kinda funny to me, vs sending me to some sort of obscure site for independent repair techs or whatever
