for doing mid-layer changes wlthout a ams! Seems successful; I'm not sure how well it would work for like, full on multicolored prints but it seems like it could? I'm mostly interested in it for first layer embedded designs/text.

the results, btw--I started by trying the stripes in PLA (yellow) even tho I knew it wasn't likely to work and the result was Very Funny--the PETG couldn't adhere to it at all and it just kinda.... rolled/beaded off.

interestingly the black ended up printing matte up until the last 20 or so layers when there were only small hinge bits left--I may need to slow down my outer walls or up the heat on the black now? Maybe it was hotter or cooler or something in my office today vs the last time I printed a medium sized thing in black. It may also be a side effect of having run everything through a dehumidifier? That's the only significant change its been through that I can recall.

Rick fits quite snugly in here; I almost don't need to print out a pin to hold its backpack, but I probably will. I may also do one for the bazooka, but it fits Just So behind its knees so it would mostly be there to hold it in place if Rick is not in the box.

Have you seen the one I did for my crossbone x-1? The case is parametric and released as a fusion360 archive file, meaning it's highly customizable; I made a separate compartment for its weapons, and I'm planning on adding spots for the brand marker conversion/addition I 3D printed it, too. I might tackle my barbatos next; not sure how to place its mace in there neatly, tho, and I'm tempted to make it a Double Box for my graze, as well (it just seems like that would be Big, but on the flipside it might look proportionally better, as this one feels bigger than it is due to its thickness vs length/width)

I haven't considered doing any of my 1/144s since my main goal here is "something I can toss in my backpack to fiddle with later" and I like the big ones posed on my shelf but it's tempting to do so for the satisfaction of The Perfect Box...
