I've recieved credible eye witness reports that my daughter has somehow managed to color a stinkbug/shield bug with a pinkishred sidewalk chalk. She then stated that it was an "american beetle"
Is the bug american to contrast the other known big, a japanese beetle? Does the red coloring indicate its nationality? Does my daughter even fully comprehend the concepts of geography let alone borders needed to make these distinctions?1
