I like how quickly these show length; it's like the opposite of knitting where you never feel like there's progress until boom you're done. Probably helps I'm only making 3-4 knots a row vs 50+ stitches, lol

I also uhhhh may or may not have worked out a repeating eggbug normal pattern midway thru the green bracelet using braceletbook.com's pattern generator; that might be my next one

It's too short to go around my giant hands so I'm hesitant to call it a wrist strap, lol. I didn't actually intend for it to be for a wrist, either--the idea was to have a wooden bead and slider on it to be a stylish flavor of the OG DS's stylus-strap buuuut it's just a teeny bit short for it to let me reach all corners of the screen. I was running out of string at the end, didn't want to add more, and it seemed long enough when I tested before cutting ends and sewing but 🤷
I chose the light blue and yelloworange to match the DS and the Secret Color in the SD slot and stylus well; I was very glad we had such close matches in our embroidery stash!

(I'm probably gonna come up with a way to hook a little ring with the bead to it; it's been very comfortable to have a free floating stylusring anyways in my testing the bead's efficacy)

Regardless it's cute and the joy's in the making and also this is shockingly my first time ever making a friendship bracelet. How have I not made one before??
