The details I'm appreciating here:

the printing on the eyeballs and the way the tooth pieces plus clip really capture the idea of a mantis's razormouth

the sand green pistol, lol. This has a really lovely texture too!! It's delicately grainy like a soft version of 1000 grit sand paper, a 10/10 texture. Also, these legs rock; put them in black or dark red and you would make a sick ant too. The leg segment closest to the abdomen provides excellent flexibility!

The abdomen texture!! The little D tiles evoke the segmentation of the abdomen delightfully; the center D tile is on the edge of a rounded corner 1x3 while the topmost one is on the end of a regular 1x2, so there's some additional depth that makes them really pop nicely. (also: D tiles!! they're so Neat 😌)

the 1x_ construction of the mantis is really satisfying; everything is lined up in a lovely row and the details are carefully chosen to maximize stability while maintaining the svelt line (the branch is also 1x_ ! it just builds more into the sides to bulk it out. It's a nice bit of similitude 😌)

I love the Y shape on the lower wing made from the shield tiles and L tile (which: smooth L??? whaaaa). Also the trio of quarter circle tiles in light blue, medium blue, and black

I like the texture pieces on the branch and the little flower that's shooting off of it

I like how the pillar is constructed, using those slight angle technic pieces (and Fun Cool Bar pieces to interface with it!) to tilt it back subtly, displaying the butterfly perfectly

I adore the bee, with its minifig wings (radddd) held together with studs-with-bar-holes (these are sooo cool) and a bar-clip, little egg abdomen, and that bucket handle(?) for antennae. It's so simple and small and good!!
