I finished one sock today; I was thinking I'd match stripes on this pair but when I pulled out the center of the next skein it wasn't near the same color at all (and the heathered gradient makes it hard to find the same spot anyways) so I'm shooting for "stripes line up but aren't matched" on the next one

Texture/patternwise this is a riff on another pair I did; I think that one had 5 garter stitches in the Vs and this is 4 with 6 stitches between each V; if I do this again I'd probably either do fewer between each V or a wider V or both. I'm also trying 3x2 ribbing instead of 2x2; I made a pair of fingerless gloves in this and it had sooo much hug so I wanted to see it with a sock. So far it doesn't seem as huggy as the gloves, possibly due to the fact the gloves are entirely 3x2 🤷
