me: suddenly remembers earnestly looking up how to make model grass and learning how to (roughly) build those static sifter contraptions

also me: cannot for the life of me recall why I wanted to know (but there definitely was a project in mind, not just curiosity)

my dsi shoulder buttons' low response wasn't a real problem till I hit Rockers 2 and you suddenly need a shoulder in rhythm heaven

but it also means I can finish metroid prime hunters

I absolutely can swap these out but the ribbon that's fused to the pcbs that hold the switches is gonna make an already fiddly job harder

After idk, 5, minutes? of careful searching I resorted to placing the other one on the ground to jumpstart my pattern recognition and found it nearly instantly 😌

I actually attempted this a couple months ago and it sorta worked but got worse again; this is markedly better than even immediately after that cleaning so hopefully it stays Good
