A "don't show reposts if you follow the OP" option would be useful, I think, especially with the smaller scale of the ecosystem here.

yeah it's definitely limiting my willingness to do certain types of post on here... I can't really live-copost something because I know adding a bunch of shares of my own post will absolutely deluge peoples' timelines
