I said that it's a bummer and weird how significant it is that I'm not going to get to go to another convention, and a bunch of of much more straight laced people said how much they miss stuff like Sakuracon and maker faires. I don't think they realize that I am specifically talking about furry cons, as a trans person, who went to room parties that required drop cloths.

I have resigned myself to a future where I just don't even get to go to things like cons anymore I'll just have to organize private glow parties independent of 4000 person festivals
