I use quadruped and biped for a lot, but when I need to have synonymous terms in writing so I don’t write quadruped and biped over and over I’ve taken to calling the poses “forward” and “upright”. It’s not entirely accurate but it’s the most value neutral terms I’ve been able to find, since forward and upright both get used as positive descriptors when not used to describe movement.
