I have no idea what I’m doing and you can’t stop me.

Pronouns are She/It, perpetually happy HRT gave me titties and sad it didn’t give me tentacles.

“Because I’m not as ignorant as you think I am,” Tythel said, grinning with razor sharp teeth. “Do you know what makes royal bloodlines special?”.
Duke d’Monchy was caught off guard by the question, and blinked a few times before answering. “Divine right?”
“No,” Tythel said. “They are special because somewhere far enough back, there was a warlord who was strong enough to seize power and hold it, then passed it to their children. That’s it. Someone in the past was a powerful enough bastard to say “I rule here,” and no one could reject them.” Tythel spread her wings, making her form as large and imposing as possible. “I do not know if I truely have the blood of a king in my veins. But I do know I am a powerful enough bastard to say ‘I rule here’.”
Duke d’Monchy started to shake, and Tythel took some pity on the man.
“Pull yourself together. I’m not going to kill you. But I will also no longer tolerate this dichotomy. I am either your monarch, or I am a soldier in your rebellion. If the former, I am going on this mission to save my kingdom, and you have no power to stop me. If the latter, I am abdicating my throne since I will not be your pawn, and you will lose all legitimacy. Now. Which do you chose?”
He hesitated, looking around the room. “Is there really a choice?” he asked.
“Of course,” Tythel said. “The same choice all proto monarchs gave their future subjects.”
“Warlords are not known for letting those who defy them live,” the Duke said.
“Correct.” Tythel crouched down to look him in the eyes. “But I am not a warlord. I am a dragon. If we wanted to rule humanity, we would have done so thousands of years ago. Don’t you understand that? I do not wish to rule. But I would rather rule than be a puppet."

I've missed working on this series.
