It feels so much harder to get someone to read and engage with writing than like, art or music, and it can be incredibly disheartening. I have tried my best to assume anything I post here will never get responses just to like, feel better about how it goes down, but it’s hard every time.
Like, it sucks, but I get it. Reading takes up more energy than looking at a photo, or listening to a song. It engages the brain in ways other things don't. But I wish there was some way to help overcome that because god does the other side - writing a story that isn't read - hits hard.
