One of my favorite underappreciated genres of furries is the dragon therians who are like, EXTREMELY hardcore about how much they want to be an old school dragon. The kind that isn't like "I wanna be a cute dragon girl who plays video games" but like "I read that illustrated dragon book as a kid and it broke my mind, and now I'm going to write 20000 words about the experience of being a beast of a dragon with a mind completely alien to humanity"
