I fucking can't believe my parents. They're watching my cats while I'm out of town. I feed my cats off a plate. This is a very specific reason - beyond the pain bowls can cause their whiskers, Loki and Balder are both prone to feline acne which can be irritated by food particles on the bowls. Today my mom told me "BTW we switched them to bowls." I told her they'd struggle to eat with that, that I don't want her changing my cat's routines while I'm out of town, and that they could get ance this way - everything I told her before I left town. her response is "They're eating fine, it's cleaner because they don't make a mess."
Last time Loki ate out of a bowl he got infected sores on his chin that required antibiotics, and now my parents are putting him in danger. I'm fucking furious.
