I have no idea what I’m doing and you can’t stop me.

I had shame once.

I'd really like suggestions for youtube channels that do deep dives on the narrative structure of fantasy and science fiction stories in the 20 mins - 1 hour range. Like, specifically breaking down why a particular good story works narrative or why a particular bad stories do not, without going into CinemaSins style "THIS DOESN'T ADHERE TO MY VERSION OF LOGIC DING!!!!" stuff but instead like...actually deconstructing the story in an interesting way.

Ideally also these videos would not rely on visual elements heavily because I play these in the background while I'm gaming.

Alternatively

I'd like recommendations for queer fantasy stories that have an audiobook, good action, an interesting world and characters, and are rather pulpy. Again, the kind of things I can put on in the background of me playing video games, so low trauma high fun.

Oh, and since last time I asked this went poorly for me I want to add: Please nothing that centers adoption or adoptees beyond it being a background detail, for personal reasons I cannot handle another story that ends with "Adopted person learns their real parent is just a random nobody who abandoned them" or "Ophaned/Adopted person sacrifices themselves for the sake of one member of their abusive shitty family."
