I love this card because it’s a great removal spell like all the other ones that turn creatures into something bland but also you can aggressively moo at your opponent when you cast it and it’s justified in context and I love that.
Also I really want to build an Axorius deck, gift someone Avatar of Me that was rule 0ed in, the turn it into a cow and say “get cowified, bitch.”
I need you to understand if I do that, it doesn’t matter wha else happens, I will not care if I win the game because even if the rules say I lost my heart will say I won.
(Also just in general I’m really loving some of the OJT mechanics.)
So for those who don’t play this cursed game, first of all you are correct run away this game is brain rot. But the rule there for “haste” is what’s known as a key word. These are common rules bundled into an easy to remember word to save space on the card.
Haste is one of those key words. It gets printed on starter products, but for over a decade now cards like Shadowfax here don’t include it because it’s assume you know what it means.
But it is printed on Shadowfax. Why?
Because Shadowfax shows us the meaning of haste.
