I would, no lie, absolutely KILL for the TNG crew to have a cheesy-ass special episode where the Enterprise has to help a sleigh-like alien vessel piloted by a very familiar-looking fellow who has broken down but has to deliver some extremely important supplies to his home planet.
Geordi: "You don't suppose that was-"
Riker: "It couldn't be"
Troi: "After everything else we've seen today, is it really that hard to believe?"
Data: "I presume you speaking of that man's striking similarities to the old Earth legend of Santa Claus. But there is no evidence to support that this was ever more than a children's story. Surely it this is merely a coincidence"
Picard: "Perhaps, Mr. Data. Or perhaps a being much like our friend visited Earth once and inspired the stories. But I think the universe is a lot brighter if we keep a bit of room in our heart for belief in the magic of Christmas"
