it's january and i already have a hard time believing there will be any game that comes out this year that is on par with pizza tower. i've been seeing it on twitter for years just like everyone else but i didnt realize i was really what it was shaping up to be until maybe a week ago
tears of the kingdom will have to knock my ass clean off to top this for me, i really can't think of anything else due this year that could compete. maybe MAYBE sony spider-man 2 but even then, im not playing that this year because theres no way any human being on earth could get a PS5. it's not just a platform exclusive it's a "maybe 10 people on earth" exclusive. you can honestly push everything else back to 2024 and give everyone some time to work on the backlog because goty 2023 got fucking decided in january
(and this isn't about the quality of those games so much as pizza tower is that good)
