having a bidet is life-changing. what the president told nicholas cage to look up in the evil america book in national treasure 2 was "get a bidet"

however it's also like, my toilet is weaponized now. i worry it's going to spray my fucking face whenever im in the bathroom. im going to die because it's going to attack me with its cannons. it's blastoise

People are back from Frosty Faustings, so what better time to post?

What is Vortex Gallery?

Vortex Gallery (fka AnimEVO) is back with its second online event next weekend. Running from Feb 10-Mar 5, the event brings games old and new to the forefront. I've spent a lot of time in the FGC (nearly 4 years), most of it online, playing what I could find on Fightcade. I'm going to talk about those games, some of which you might not have heard of!

I've decided to split up these posts by the week, since registration closes in waves - on Feb 8th for the weekend of Feb 10-12th, etc.

I know polarBair isn't the most puzzle pilled person out there (we're working on him) but that description of Azu Puzzle Bobble is so insultingly vague. There's so much more going on with this game than Puzzle Bobble with Azumanga Anime skin.

LOOK AT THIS BULLSHIT

There's an open part of the versus wall. Most puzzle games have you an your opponent play on their own sides of the screen, but this one says, NO we want violence. This leads to alot of funny shenanigans like stealing big damage and pieces from your opponents board. Or directly fucking it up by shootign bad pieces over there.

It's a very funny game. I'm glad we mostly play thru fightcade cuz I imagine this would be a prime candidate for "arcade cabinet where most players received stab wounds."

Tune in Sunday 2/12 @ 10am PST/1pm EST. @ twitch.tv/dekafumodeathcult

small bracket so you can watch #TheBirds afterwards

i still say "that's how mafia works" when something mildly unfortunate happens to me that's out of my hands, like i just left a mozzarella stick in the microwave too long and the cheese exploded out. i don't think "that's how mafia works" had any lasting cultural impact though so it's a reference that would already be lost on people if anyone could hear it

absentmindedly autopiloted through releasing a pokemon i had just caught in go, including straight through a "are you sure you want to release a shiny pokemon?" prompt and only realizing what i had just read after saying "yes" because it was a pokemon with a barely-different shiny palette.

eh, that's how mafia works!
