I'm beyond excited to announce that my humble designs actually made the FIRST WINNER of Miri Canvas Design Contest: "Things that Make Me Happy"!! Feels like a dream, omg I'm absolutely speechless..! Thanks so much, Miri Canvas, for choosing my work!

This was a super fun contest because creating the entries felt like counting my bliss, it's an enjoyable process from start to finish. It's also inspiring on a personal level, I think I should just do this more often: draw, create just the things that REALLY make me happy!

So thanks again to Miri Canvas for the awesome contest, and congrats to the other winners and participants too!

To be honest with you, I rarely picnic in the city parks, because they're rather badly maintained (at least in my particular city). So I resort to go picnic in the city malls instead, haha.. Sad, I know, when every space needs to be profitable, but I'm still thankful there are still at least a few spots where I can enjoy my own company.

Still dreaming of perfect picnic spots where I can freely lie down with my books and feeding any stray cats dropping by!

Riding my bicycle is my favorite physical activity.. because it's super chill but a lot more distance covered than just walking or jogging! ;) I usually ride in the late afternoon once a week when I need to shop for groceries. I sure enjoy ticking both items in my to-do list (exercise & groceries) at the same time!

Sometimes during my city weekend excursions, I bring a sketchbook with me to just do some fun doodles or generate ideas for my projects. Being out of your house for a while surely would clear your mind (like, a LOT!), because I noticed my ideas are fresher whenever I doodle things on the road. Not to mention the healing side effects when you freely pour out everything in your mind into empty papers!
