I love making a bid on eBay for a thing that obviously nobody else is the least bit interested in, and then having to wait like 10 days for it to complete. it feels like you're sitting in the room with the guy who listed it and you're both just looking at each other awkwardly. the auctioneer periodically yells "DO I HEAR $105” and you both just sigh under your breath
