preferences are on weird pre-2002 stuff. bonus points if it doesn't hate me and want me to die. although I can't stop you from recommending me call of duty modern warfare. or half life 2. I'm really not picky though

so zha only suggestion zhat comes to mind for me is Strife (1996), i remember playing it when i was younger, my dad had pirated it. if i recall, its an fps wizh some rpg mechanics? i never beat it, it was just anozher novel game from my childhood

I'm wishlisting for sure, but I wanna hold off on 20+ dollar games until I'm more settled into the new apartment. this is not a problem for any triple a game though. or for any game released before modern drm. because I own all of them physically 😌

I am absolutely in the sicko category, cruelty squad and system shock are some of my favorite games and hrot and devil daggers are loads of fun, eyeing everything else on that part of the list for sure

descent very much counts and is at the top of my list but I need to get my hands on a flight stick to play that one proper. I know abyss has one I can probably use but I don't know where it is at present 😔

you gotta try chasm the rift !!!!!!!!!! fun lil slavjank grimecore fps about time aliens n shit ^_^ it has a dismemberment system for the enemies which is rad as fuck for a game from 1997 !! also i don’t rlly remember the specifics but it does some evil shit with how it handles 3d i.e. in-level verticality is handled kinda like it is in rott ? i haven’t played it in forever so i may be misremembering but it is very silly
