this post was just about the layout, with regard to a third party modern ish but otherwise extremely similar controller, but a refurbished original N64 controller I ordered just arrived. why does the analog stick feel like that. it doesn't feel old and worn down, it feels clacky. mechanical. this doesn't feel like any analog stick I've ever used. I think this is a spring loaded ball mouse attached to a stick
it does feel like it needs to be lubricated, but also I've used analog sticks that need to be lubricated and they don't feel like this
