so, there is one more boxer to fight in punch out wii. I have unlocked a mode where you get put up against random title defense fights and you only get to lose three times before the mode is permanently inaccessible. one of the random boxers in the pool is donkey kong. for some reason. if I lose to donkey kong, I can fight him in the exhibition training mode sorta thing. if I lose three fights before seeing donkey kong, he is permanently inaccessible and I have to start a new save file. this sucks, I think! I think this is bad
it is worth mentioning that every single title defense fight including glass joe is non-trivial and requires tight reactions and punishes you hard for making mistakes. this is a terrifying prospect to try to get anywhere with
