every time I watch a video of someone playing doom in 1080p in gzdoom with dynamic lighting and hardware rendering and vertical mouselook and blood splatters and interpolated animations I lose a little bit of my soul

#I don't judge anyone for any of this. play the game the way it makes you happy of course. it does however cause me physical pain to look at #<- low resolution early 3d graphics appreciator
