as far as i can tell its basically slang for a trans woman. or maybe specifically like hyper-feminine trans women? at least i mostly see hyper-feminine trans women using it to describe themselves, but i've also seen those same people use it to discuss trans women as a category in a context where it'd be weird to limit it specifically to hyper-feminine trans women. seems kinda related to the use of 'razorgirl' as a self-applied label for some trans women.
I'm just guessing here, but in older cyberpunk books a razorgirl was a woman with lots of lethal cybernetic augmentations (think cyber-ninja). I suppose it makes sense that some trans women would strongly identity with highly feminine characters set apart from society that get surgery to shape their bodies as they please. Also the whole assassinating the powerful thing is rather appealing, regardless of gender

empty spaces, i think (speaking as an outsider) is a sort of queer kink art movement with some loose shared fiction, mostly by sapphic trans women, with a focus on trauma and objectification. dolls are like the central Kind of Girl in empty spaces i think, there are also witches and angels. the whole thing is kind of inscrutable and opaque, perhaps almost intentionally, but i've heard it described as something to the effect of "omegaverse for traumatized transbians". there's #Empty Spaces on here if you wanna take a look, just known its pretty heavy stuff by nature.
