Oh I had no idea that was a Mizuguchi joint as well. I just heard of it as a thing from Yugo Nakamura who was a big deal in the early days of Flash, iirc one of the first notable people to do programmatic animation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLt7Gwnt3WY
