My cohost experience has successfully recreated the ideal shape the tumblr feed/twitter feed took back when i used them the most, which is, roughly:

  • CSS buffoonery, formatting funsies

  • A lot of tech discussions from tech people

  • Jokes from my funny friends

  • Discussions about media

  • Cool photography from cool people

  • Discourse where it's a largely amicable agreement that [thing] is bad but then there's one doofus who should really stop talking but who cares, you can silence their posts

  • someone complaining about the discourse without realizing they can in fact silence the posts too, there are simple solutions to life's problems

  • A LOT OF REALLY QUEER PORN

  • Repeat from Jokes

This is about all I want from my social media, such as Cohost qualifies as social media fused with a blogging site
