My cohost experience has successfully recreated the ideal shape the tumblr feed/twitter feed took back when i used them the most, which is, roughly:
-
CSS buffoonery, formatting funsies
-
A lot of tech discussions from tech people
-
Jokes from my funny friends
-
Discussions about media
-
Cool photography from cool people
-
Discourse where it's a largely amicable agreement that [thing] is bad but then there's one doofus who should really stop talking but who cares, you can silence their posts
-
someone complaining about the discourse without realizing they can in fact silence the posts too, there are simple solutions to life's problems
-
A LOT OF REALLY QUEER PORN
-
Repeat from Jokes
This is about all I want from my social media, such as Cohost qualifies as social media fused with a blogging site
