Apple is bitch made for not letting the iPhone power external devices it’s just so they can sell me more shitty dongles I don’t buy any excuses about battery life or anything it’s because they want me to keep buying $30 dongles
Also the fact we’re on iPhone 14 Pro and it still doesn’t have USB-C makes me feel insane
if you're clever you can usually talk applecare into sending you a free one by pretending one that you bought went bad. they do go bad all of the time and they don't have serial numbers so apple has no way to prove that you're lying. never throw one of their charger away even if it's bad because they will send you a new one. they effectively have lifetime warranties.
