Our metaphor has always been driving a car on a road trip. Sometimes the drivers switch. Sometimes one of us is in the passenger seat helping navigate. Sometimes someone is just fully passed out in the back seat.
i operate more like a starship on star trek. there are many of us and we are all at the controls all of the time but each of us has a different important job any of which can become the most important operator at any moment. big decisions get discussed in the ready room. everyone has a say but the big boss bitch has the final say. lol
we couldn't get away with talking about ourselves in the third person as one is want to do when each has an identity that all pilot this weird little mech so we all agreed to forgo personal identities in favor of all being known as a collective. we are borg but like nice borg who don't assimilate people.
