They placed this statue of a woman in casual clothes on the station square. It makes all the right people happy, and also all the other right people flipping mad.
I'm kind of a huge fan of a statue of just a normal person hanging out. Like more celebrations of everyday people just living their lives please this rules
This was exactly what I felt walking from west to east Berlin and seeing the statuary and building decoration shift from saints to workers. Really just a different vibe from what we’re used to seeing immortalized.
