whoever is/was responsible for coding the pause mechanism for stellaris should never be allowed to write another line of code.
it's real fucking simple and imminently obvious that if someone presses the pause toggle at the same time an autopause occurs the state the engine should be in is PAUSED, you fuckwit.
as you can tell, i am once again a totally normal amount of pissed about this.
they could have fixed it so easily by processing the pause command IMMEDIATELY like literally every other game than has ever been made instead of shoving it on the end of the queue of commands. absolute fuckwits, i'm telling you. and paradox interactive are so proud of their shit with this thing. it's constantly getting updates and no one is going to fix this, ever. eldritch screaming
