if you were a random single-appearance NPC in a jrpg who would you be?
I'd be the person in a town who inexplicably does a little dance when you talk to them, expressed by very limited movements of the sprite and a little tune playing.
and i say something really basic about the world like "many people use horses to travel between towns".

if you talk to either of us we just say "meow!"
All I actually say is a complaint about whatever the plot point is for the town.
"I can't believe they closed the road to [third town]! I'm stuck at home all day."
There's a book on my shelves that gives you a point of WIS.
