i do know there's a game with that similar theme just give me a minute
character is a weird type of pacifist and is trying to do an Inception on all the realspace physical enemies and give them the idea "hey don't hurt that guy"
Ooh yeah! Maybe there are "switches" in the inception sub-dungeons that change enemy behavior?
I couldn't find it back, but I remember playing a few years ago a turn by turn roguelike where your main action was going "inside" creatures. Each creature would be its own dungeon room, like if you entered "inside" a cow you would find moving meat, milk and perhaps other creatures moving turn by turn too. I feel like I dreamed this game, but I'm absolutely sure it was featured on oujevipo.fr at some point. Perhaps @Oujevipo remembers?
