Big dream I remember a lot from last night:
I was in college again, some school in a medium-sized city. It was the first day and idk what this class was even about, but they had a checklist that I spent the entire dream trying to get.
It included:
*Orange juice
*Perfume
*Love letter
*Light bondage gear (I figured just some nylon rope and carabiners, what kinda class was this?)
I walked all the way from the city to the small town hardware store I used to work at for the rope & hardware. I hitched a ride with a man and his son when they stopped at some railroad tracks. I said " you can let me off here." at one point; he said "who are you?" and I apologized because he must not have noticed me hitching a ride? I felt embarrassed esp. since I (already?) had rope and that might've made me look threatening.
The power was out in the store. My dad, grandma, a person who identified herself as my grandma's mother, and others were there. Can't remember what we talked about. W/ my former coworkers at the front counter, they were on some kind of zoom call with company executives (wasn't that kind of business structure) trying to fix the problem.
Running low on time is a recurrent theme in my dreams and I was running out of time before class throughout the rest of the dream. I walked to the city grocery store. There was some kinda sidetracking where I brought trading cards of some kind on the sidewalk and went back to my dorm to sleep.
Eventually got to the store (I think I yo-yoed from the store to the street several times for some reason) and it was super busy with people trying to get orange juice. Got a halfway full soap-style bottle of 100% organic orange juice. Was tempted to get croissants, but decided against it.
I hopped into the car of somebody who was a classmate in highschool and he told me not to worry and that he had lied to the professor that my paper wouldn't print. I told him it would just be better if I turned in just the love letter for partial credit if we couldn't get everything.
The parking lot for the perfume store was incredibly poorly made and was 90% disabled parking, so it took a while for us to find a place to park.
He went in and I did shortly after. Kept wandering to some restaurant in the store and had to work up the courage to ask one of the ladies who were having a conversation at the front desk for directions to the perfume. She led me up some red carpeted spiral stairs where there were crumbly rocks that were turned into perfume when crushed and added to water.
I lost my phone at some point in the room and my classmate did as well. I found his and then he called mine (it was plugged into a charger). Realized we were running out of time and then I woke up.
