made some pixel art of clamperl that's pretty much done. gonna add some finishing touches and write some thoughts on clamperl sometime tomorrow or overmorrow if I don't feel motivated after work. I was looking up reference images and, uhhhhh, what's going on in this anime screenshot?:
I looked further into the image and Bulbapedia's explanation of the Team Rocket fantasy was "the reasoning for capturing Clamperl is not addressed." Then what is he doing?! Like, is he kicking the Clamperl? Using it's ridged shell as a footscrubber? He doesn't look happy. Is his foot swollen or is it just artistic emphasis? Does it being night have anything to do with Clamperl's use?
