Had someone ask me how I couldn't remember an individual Nier track and all I could say is that all of them are well composed but they all so homogeneous. Every track feels like it's evoking variants on basically the same mood so they just run together. Each individual one could be beautiful but there's no friction, no textural variety to make any given one stick out for me.
