reminder that as of win7 you can just remove USB sticks from windows without ejecting them appropriately because they have write caching disabled by default because people kept not ejecting them and losing data

oh my GOD. the amount of insufferable DATA TERRORISTS who just kept saying « well I've never used "Safely Remove" and I've never had any problems!!! » and it was all just Microsoft yanking a cache????
