so i was on holiday with my family, and my 3yo nephew (who is on a classic-nintendo-games kick) was acting out a level of an imaginary computer game, and i thought i'd see if i could throw together a prototype for him to play and this is it

So I spent the week with my nephew again, and this time he invented "the mole game" which basically meant burying himself next to me under some cushions. My role in this was playing the mountain. After a while I added an avalanche where I dropped a bunch more cushions on top of him and told him he was buried forever and wouldn't be able to get out. Ofc he did immediately. In the videogame version, the falling rocks form a maze above the mole, because he likes a maze.
It's much less expansive than Legally Distinct Emergency Dog, but equally it was mostly made in one morning before he got up so I think it was a success.
